• Botulinum toxin (more commonly referred to as  botox® ), is a neurotoxin used to treat lines and wrinkles on the face.

• The most common treatment areas are expression lines such as forehead lines, frown lines and crows feet.

​

• It helps to reduce the appearance of existing wrinkles, as well as preventing further wrinkles from developing.

​

• The treatment involves a series of small injections to the chosen area, the results of which are usually visible between 3 to 10 days after the treatment, although 2 weeks is required post treatment in order to assess the full effects of it and offer a review.

• The effects of the treatment can then be expected to last between 3 - 6 months.
